Across rural America, hundreds of blind and visually impaired teenagers face daily barriers to education, mobility, healthcare, and employment. Many are unable to attend school, access assistive devices, or receive the training they need to live independently. Limited resources and ongoing economic challenges leave countless families struggling to provide even the most basic support.

Blind Rise Initiative exists to change that.

We are a community-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering blind and visually impaired young people through education, rehabilitation, vocational training, advocacy, and community inclusion. Our mission is simple: to ensure that blindness is never a barrier to opportunity, dignity, or independence.
